Diamonds of Truth

Bridge Pathway

Jesus is Lord

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Tim 3:16) "...The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." ( John 6:63)

If these words are true, and they are, it must be demonstrated in the lives of those who believe and meditate and stand on these truths. And since we are living in what the Bible calls the "last days," it becomes even more urgent and critical that we feed on these truths and be strong enough for the tsunami of deception and lies the New World Order is about to throw down as mandatory. Gird yourself with His truths before your date with destiny. Let these few selections provided here build up your faith.

Gift

A Life & Death Decision
You Must Make

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 6:23)

God's serious and painful first words to Adam and Eve are confronted and satisfied by His Son's sacrifice on the cross and summarized here by Apostle Paul's glorious announcement.
From the Garden of Eden when man was warned not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, since he would surely die (Gen 2:17), to the days His Son walked this earth proclaiming He would take our place as a substitute sacrifice - one death for all. (2 Cor. 5:14)

Both truths: the demand that the wages of sin is death, and the promise that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus converge on each one of our lives as we face the decision of a lifetime.

Wages are usually a welcome thing - payment for hours worked.
But some payment
s are what's due for breaking the law, especially God's.
Gifts are welcome too - no labor necessary, just love and favor.

Our Creator warned His creation of eating from that tree, perhaps a reason only known to Him  as being something that mankind could not handle. The action brought the penalty of death, meaning separation from God's presence and personal relations with their God. It also brought corruption in their bodies leading to a slow but sure death in the physical.

There are many ways one might understand this but I see it as a huge burden, the knowledge of good and evil, that entered the soul and body, a place not prepared for such a godly thing. And "sin," a leaning towards evil, was the result. This is w
hat would thereafter be passed on to all humanity (Rom.5:12). Every child born would inherit this leaning towards evil (Gen.4:7). And as we know from experience, every child is prone towards selfish and contentious behavior. Although it is not this inherited sin that we are quilty of, but our individual reaction to its trying to enslave us. We always have a choice (free will) to chose whether to succumb to the sin's lustful leaning, or fight it with the grace that God gives us through Jesus. Once we are mature enough to reason (not young children), it is these individual sins that deserve the wages of sin - death. (See Romans 6, 7, and 8 to see how our Lord describes how we should "not let sin reign in your mortal body;" "...for sin shall not have dominion over you...")

But, the mercy of God would not allow Him to leave us in this condition with no way of escape. Mercy is one of His greatest characteristics and oh how thankful we should be for that! He intervened in the situation, and found a way to bring us back to a godly relationship once again; a way to escape the wages of death for our sin by sending His only Son as a substitute sacrifice ( 2 Cor. 5: 14; John 3:16) for ALL of us.

At Christmas time we all know how to receive the gifts given to us by our family and friends. It is no different with this gift from God. Open hands and open hearts are all that's needed. (Eph.2: 8,9) Do not think that you must clean up your life first before coming to Him for this gift. He only requires for you to be sorry and willing to make a change. This way He gets the glory as He helps you change your life to the peaceful and joyful one He wants for you.

ISRAEL: Some Things a Lot of People Don't Know About Her Including the Church

The history of mankind received a huge blessing when God selected Abraham to father a nation that would be responsible for showing the world God's love and mercy and His plan for eternal life. Here are just a few of the amazing things God has said about Israel:

Blessing & Cursing Depend on How One Treats Israel:
Genesis 12:3 "I will bless those who bless you (Abram), and I will curse him who curses you; And in you all families of the earth shall be blessed."

The Land of Canaan is a Covenant to Abraham:
Psalm 105: 8-11 "He (the Lord) remembers His covenant forever, the word which He commanded for a thousand generations, the covenant which He made with Abraham and His oath to Isaac, and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance."

Israel is The Apple of God's Eye
Zechariah 2:8 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you (Israel) touches the apple of His eye.'"

We Should Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem
Psalm 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you."

Gentile Believers (Christians) Have a duty to Minister to Jews
Romans 15:25,27 "But I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. It pleased them (Gentile believers from Macedonia) indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things."

Gentile Believers (Christians)  are Grafted Into the Olive Tree (Israel)
Romans 11: 17-27 "And if some of the branches were broken off (Jewish olive tree), and you, being a wild olive tree (Gentile people), were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you."

The Mystery of The Church: Reconciliation of Jews and Gentiles
Ephesians 2:13 - Ephesians 3:6 "Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh...were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were a far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Hinself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

"For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles - if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,  how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery, ...which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men...that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body, and partakers of His promises in Christ through the gospel."

Blindness Has Come to Israel Until The Fullness of Gentiles Come in
Romans 11: 25-26 " For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Deliverer wil come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins."

A New Law Greater Than the First One: And He will Write His Law In Their Minds and Hearts
Jeremiah 31: 31-34 "Behold the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah - not according to the covenant I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husbasnd to them, says the LORD. But this is the covenant that I will make  with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD. I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts ; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know Me, from the least  of them  to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

In That Day When All Nations Are Gathered Against Jerusalem, They Will be Cut To Pieces
Zechariah 12: 2-9 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it...In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem...It shall be in that day (Armageddon) that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."

David Shall Be Their King Forevermore After Their Victory at Armageddon Into the Millennium
Ezekiel 37: 21-28 "Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their land...David My servant shall be King over them...Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant where your fathers dwelt..."
